I’m Randy White and I want to be your sheriff.

 

As a lifelong resident of Monroe County working in law enforcement and emergency management for over 23 years I’ve seen growth in industry and population and  changes of both prosperity and recession in this blessed corner of Tennessee.

 

I’ve also witnessed first hand the scourge of Meth, the rise in domestic abuse, and the connections between all forms of drug addiction, crime and hopelessness. I sincerely believe the cycle can be broken and with solid leadership, community support, and effective enforcement we can break it. Drugs and drug abuse are not the only crimes in our county but the links are undeniable and I will attack this issue at the source.

 

My sheriff’s department will be your sheriff's department and your sheriff's department will have as their first priority securing the rights and property of the hard working, tax paying citizens of Monroe County. We have beautiful communities and neighborhoods from Citico to the “knobs” and all of our citizens can expect to be treated respectfully and efficiently when there are complaints, questions, and concerns. Officers who work for me work for you.

 

My family like every family in the county has to live on a budget. The sheriff's department will too. Costs can be controlled and we can set a fair fiscally responsible budget and live with it.  I will be a sheriff who understands budgeting and will be a good steward of your taxes.  All areas of the sheriff's department will be transparent and accountable to those whom we serve.  

 

2010 is the year to bring change in leadership to the Sheriff's department of Monroe County TN. Vote for me, Randy White. I will do what’s right, do what’s fair and do the best for the tax paying citizens of our county.
